"Hello Volvo Friends.
I have finally picked up my Windy 22 Sport 1985 with her AQ200D and 280 leg. I nearly got arrested by the Queen's armed close protection unit at Windsor Castle in the process!!.
This was because the idiot I bought it from assured me it had enough fuel in it to make the Windsor slipway but instead it ran out right outside the Queen of England's back garden at Windsor Castle on the River Thames, forcing us to moor up against her river frontage, protected by very serious looking young men with Range Rovers and machine guns!!. But they were nice to us in the end!!
Anyway, she is on dry land at my local yard and ready for major tune up. However, I am getting conflicting advice over what garde engine oil to use in the AQ200D. The Seloc manual says 10W/40 the local dealer says 15W/50 and a UK V.P. parts website says 25W/40. I am confused...any help gratefully received.
Also, is it true that you should use the same grade engine oil in the 280 leg unit? or is there a better choice?
Thanks
Dan"
