AQ170 looses rpm 3200

"My 24’ speed craft with twin

"My 24’ speed craft with twin AQ170, one motor starts to cough and looses rpm 3200 +.
The motor can hold rpm at 2800-3000, do not know if it is the fuel pump or a carb issue.
The motor runs sweet in the yard. If it is the fuel pump should I change to an elec?

What type of ignition? Distributor? If so is it breakerless/electronic or points?

"Sounds like a weak coil but you might get a new condenser first and try it. If the condenser does not fix the problem, get a new coil. Be sure to get the correct replacement coil. Some require external ballast resistance and some do not."

also check the anti siphon val

also check the anti siphon valve at the tank been seeing a lot of problems here lately with them.. cheap and easy to replace...
