"Does anyone have pictures of which cylinder the distributor cables go to. I know the firing order is 1342 but I tried that set up and still not responding. I got spark, just not firing. I set the crank to TDC and aligned the distributor rotor to No.1 cylinder. What can I be doing wrong or does anyone have Pics?"
 
"Once you set No 1 cylinder on

"Once you set No 1 cylinder on TDC (the farthest away from the transom) connect the correct ignition wire to it. The the order of the rest is clockwise in the distributor.

You may want to loosen screw 9

then move the distributor's position back and forth until you find one at which the engine fires, then use a timing light to set the proper spark advance and tighten the bolt again afterwards."
