"Hello, been still having some probs with my bayliner --- The rpms are surging at wot... I hit around 4500 - 5000 rpms at wot -- boat will run great for about 200ft or so, but if running wot the whole time it starts to surge (speed drops from 32mph to 20mph), If I leave the throttle alone it will start to smooth out after a little while and I will hit 4500-5000 rpms again, It does seem to come out of it sooner if I back off the throttle to try and match the lower rpms -- I posted before but wasn't clear enough on what was going on -- still took the advice offered --- thanks
--- replaced the fuel vent tube and anti siphon valve -- but still happening -- tuned up last year with new cap/rotor/plug/wires etc. -- also put gasket kit in carb (1bbl solex) -- wondering now if I did it right? and had to replace a weak fuel pump -- seems to only have this condition under wot, motor will pur at idle / lower rpms and starts with ease---
Any more advice would be app. Thanks
