"AQ131a and unleaded petrol, should I use any lead additive for unleaded petrol?
Is it safe to run it on unleaded?"
 
"There is one school of though

"There is one school of thought, that once an engine has a 500 or 1000 hours on it( accounts vary), there is enough lead on the valves for life. Given the price of being wrong, I've always opted to use the additive, if the engine calls for leaded."
