AQ131275 Getting ready tips

I just bought a SunRunner 272

I just bought a SunRunner 272 Ultra with twin 131/275 volvos. My previous boat was an inboard so I am not yet familiar with I/Os and could use a bit of help. The 131s have an enclosed cooling system. What do I need to do to run the motors on the trailer? I assume that I will need motor flushers - What model of motor flusher should I use for this motor? do I need an additional water source other than the outdrives? Any other tips for getting it ready for the lake? Any idea of a good place to start for this and other basic education on I/O's? Thanks for your patience and help.

A garden hose with a flusher (ears) or a large pail with water where you can submerse the outdrive at least up to the cavitation plate level.

Make sure your boat and engines are in good condition. Do an engine tune-up

Get hold of a copy of the SELOC and/or Clymer manuals for your engines/outdrives. And take the time to read through old threads in this forum any topics that might interest you.
