"Do I need to change gear oil every year?
If so, what type of gear oil do i need and how do I change it. I have a aq131 with an 270 outdrive.

"Gear oil should be changed on an annual basis by minimum. You should also check it periodically throughout the season.

Fill the drive with the same oil you use in your engine. Myself, I prefer using straight 30 weight."
