An alternative to rebuilding would be to marinize a good B20 automotive engine.

Came across a friend who has a

Came across a friend who has a B18 that is punched out to a B20. He used to race a volvo in mini stock class on dirt oval. He was boasting what a radicle cam it has in it. But I'm not sure that the cam would be right for a boat. How simaler are these blocks? Can I put the cam in my B20 into a B18? He was saving the motor incase his B20 in the boat he got rid of ever went south. He is asking $1500.
