"Gentleman ! im about to bring my boat out of the water after a very poor summer here in the UK and am taking the oppotunity to lift both my AQ130c,s out for a rebuild and refurbish. My question is based on how best to achieve a good rebuild (not being engine wise). Is there a set procedure or routine for rebuilding these engines, a sequence or an appropiate order that my engineer can follow ? e.g in which order is it best to complete the timming, idle, mix etc ? Ideally it would be great if we had a check sheet, procedure or in my case idiots guide we can follow lol ?. My big plan is to pass on both engines to a friendly machanic who between now and March can set about getting both these engines in good shape while i focus on refitting the actual boat (where my own skills lie). Any help advice or guidance will be greatly appreciated thanx to u all.
P/S ... it seems to me that with the total scope and content of this forum one could write a complete technical manual or at very least complete a technical datebase."
