I have recently aquired a 22' down east style (I live in Maine) boat with an aq120b and 270 outdrive. The engine has approx 200 hours on it and other than needing a little TLC the engine is in great shape. I have been trying to learn as much as I can on the forms and see that ricardomarine and El Pescador are the masters of these engines. My first question is, can I change out my A cam and replace it with a V cam. Is it really that easy? Anything else involved? Also planning to change out to electronic ignition, any suggestions? lastly was thinking of upgrading to the double webber carburetor with the manifold. Any words of advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance
