"Help! I recently changed one of my ancient 115`s as the old one had no compression, and its twin on the left was doing all the work. but after installing the "new" motor and running sweet for about 3/4 of an hour at about 2200 rpm it started misfiring, after cooling down it runs smooth again. Other than changing the s-plugs which are new anyway, i`m at a loss as to the cause????

Looks like the coil is the prime suspect. Try with another coil.

Use a coil with 3 ohm internal

Use a coil with 3 ohm internal resistance. Epoxy filled coils are better than oil filled.
