I have a 25' Surfhunter with a late 80's aq271C with a single prop 290 outdrive and am considering repowering with a new 5.7 Ocean Series engine/outdrive. Does anyone know if I need to modify the transom cutout to accomodate the Ocean Series transom shield? Thanks for your help!
