AQ 250 transom shield

broke transom shield on my house boat. It has AQ250 on it. Need to know how to remove it. I have out drive off now. Need to Know how to preceed to get the transom plate off. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you very much. [email protected]

Frederick, typically when we see AQ folowed by a three digit number, it refers to the engine model.
The AQ 250 A and B was the later OHC 4 Volvo Penta engine.
The transom shield could be for one of several drives.

Since you do not mention a year model, I can't help much.
Could you be refering to the 250 drive of the 1970's????

None-the-less, the procedure is pretty similar between them.
