my aq131a runs well at idle a
my aq131a runs well at idle and cruise speed.when i try to open her up she overheats..? when i back off of the gas and slow it down just a little she cools back down and is fine....the dealer said to check water intake rubber hose from drive to engine for air leaks..it looks good..next he said to check timing...its set as recommended -6 degrees btdc @850 rpm....the impeller looks good and is moving the lake water through the cooling system pretty good..when i put on the muffs in the driveway the water from the exaust will gush in spurts rather than a steady flow..? also discovered that if you use the garden hose with the muffs on a 270 outdrive tape the water hole on the very bottom of the unit its hard to see and will let in a lot of air when cooling this way..any info on my overheating problem would be much appriciated..thanks
