"same thing, AQ125b has engine mounts so you have to do a small modification to your boat, overall same engine different horsepower and carburator even though it looks the same. but I'm not the master let el pescador tell you the difference"

"Both engines will fit on the same bellhousing and the external dimensions are virtually the same. However, there are several differences in construction. The AQ125A is a B21 block and the configuration is rated 110 HP while the AQ125B is a B23 block (larger bore than the B21) and rated for 120 HP. Intake manifolds and carbs are also different.

"Thank you gentlemen for your informative responses. I am new at this, and I want to minimize my errors. I am awaiting my seloc manual to answer some of them, but could you tell me how to differentiate the various types of outdrives? Is there a label somewhere I am missing? I have the AQ 125 A motor, but what outdrive? And yes, I will swap complete motor for motor.
Thanks, Ross"
