Anyone know to remove mercruiser pre-alpha outdrive?

OK I just watched some of the video, I had to stop, the guy is a bone head.

1. Trim the outdrive down level !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not leave it up especially with a wales tale on it. You will cut your for arms to shreads!!!!!!
2. shift the shift control into forward.
3. remove the trim rams nuts on both the front and the rear. It is only important to get one side off left or right if they both dont come off.
Also DO NOT USE A AIR/electricaly OPERATED wrench. The nuts are a plated brass or bronze nylar nut and if you try to remove too quckly the nuts will gall and ruin the threads..............use a rachet wrench and the appropriate socket.........

Use a hard dead blow hammer to hit the trim ram rods with, NOT A 3/8" EXTENSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this will peen over the ends of the trim ram rods (what a bone head for doing this on a video)......., Use the handle of the hammer to pry the ram off the bar. No metal tools unless absolutley neccessary!!

Once the trim rams are removed from the drive, remove the 6 5/8" hex nuts.

once this is done then the drive should be able to be pulled out and away from the boat.......
