Anyone find an electronic ignition conversion kit for AQ170

"Howdy - I'm new to this board and want to find out if any of you have found modestly priced way to convert a 6-cylinder AQ170 with Bosch distributor type 0 231 152 060 to a solid state electronic ignition system?

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the quick response. I would have had no way to know that the Petronix 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SE kit would fit the AQ170!

Do you know if there is an equivalent Ignitor II for my AQ170?

I looked at the Petronix site and saw that, for the original Ignitor series, the coil could overheat if the key was in the 'On' position and the engine was not running (something I have been know to do upon occassion). I read that the Ignitor II solved that problem, but did not find a match in the catalog.

If not the Ignitor II series, do you know if there another kit that solves the over-heated coil issue?

I took your advice and called the Petronix folks. They provided a handy way to get around the overheating coil issue (see below).

Install an oil pressure sensing unit and use its electrical output switch to turn power on to the coil only when oil pressure is present.
