"hey guys i have a 1996 evinrude 225 vindicator and i currently just did a rebuild on the engine and i replaced the rod bolts, ballanced the engine and filled the idle relief holes i also had the engine ballanced! i run the engine arround the 6,500rpm to 7,000rpm mark and was woundering what size jetting i should you use that would be a safe jet size currently it has #64 in it but that was when i was running a completely stock engine now the engine is ballanced and has the idle relief holes filled in i dont really have mutch time to do a full tune on the engine because i have 3 days till my first race! if anyone could help me that would be great!"

they are giving me a false rea

they are giving me a false reading because im running it at 30 - 1 for 4 gallons to run the hone in!

the boat is a ski race boat! s

the boat is a ski race boat! so we filled them to bump the compression up to get a bit more power out of the engine!

last season we were running up to 87mph with 2 skiers so hopefully this season we will be able to break the 90mph mark!
