Any advice on a starting battery and rectifier/regulator for a 1990 Force 120HP

I had a stator fail on one of my twin 120HP. I have a Sea 7650 Add-A-Battery System with ACR and Battery Switch and a AGM battery for stater and a deep cycle for accessories. I was told the AGM is not recommended for the CDI stater. Stater measure 0.5V DVA and open resistance, brown/yellows and brown/blues to ground 3.5V so not per specs. Stator is done even though it is new.
What lead acid battery is good and what rectifier that also has a regulator. The cheap Chinas on Amazon don't last.

The batteries from Auto Zone or Advance Auto(Die Hard) will work.
When I moved to Fl. in 2008 my boat 1988 Bayliner 21ft. twin 85hp. No room for any more batteries.
I ran both motors off the 2 batteries and a good switch.
I had Wallyworld batteries, twin 850CCA they lasted almost 10 years 3 years in Michigan and the rest in Fl.
I replaced them both with the same batteries 1000CCA These new ones lasted 3 and 4 years before needing replaced
My van needed a battery, my neighbor had a discount at Advance. Bought a 850CCA Diehard. It's 4 years old now.
My wife's Toyota's batteries lasted just about 3 years. Toyota Battery?? Don't know who makes them.
Usually the more they cost the longer they last, goes for the switches too. Never had trouble with Wallyworld batteries.
