Anode

I am looking for the anodes on a 50HP 1999 Johnson outboard motor and cannot locate them. I also have a 2001 18' Lund Alaskan and cannot find any anodes on it. Can anyone point out where they are supposed to be?

You dont say the model number of the engine so cannot show you but look at the parts list on this site for the gear case for your engine and you will find it/ them

Always quote the engine model number when asking for advice

Cannot help with the boat but should be obvious if there are any anodes

If it's truely a 1999 50 2 stroke, take the prop off & look inside the gearcase end.
You will find them in the parts catalog on the gearcase page.

If a 4 stoke, it still shows up on the gearcase page. It appears to be located above the prop looking up.
