I have a Johnson 2005 90 HP carbarated 2 stroke and have noticed significant corrosion on the mid section with paint peeling off (this is under the side covers). I successfully replaced the bracket mounted anode but snapped off the bolt holding the lower unit mounted anode which remains in place. What if anything can be done to fix this problem. The anode does not appear to be reduced by 1/3 rd in volume but was completely covered with corrosion. I have cleaned the corrosion off the existing lower unit anode but don't know if this will help --- any help with this issue will be much appreciated
