"I have a MY 2007 PCM Excalibur 343 in a 2008 Correct Craft 210. I'm installing an automated stereo volume control that requires an analog RPM signal. Does anyone know where I can grab an analog RPM signal from this engine?

Thanks,

Why don't you take if off

Why don't you take if off of the tachometer. It's the gray wire. (if you have analog gages)

I'll take a look for the grey wire at the tach when I get my boat back from the shop. I thought my gauges were driven by a digital signal (they look analog but they also have a digital readout on the face of each gauge). Hopefully it's as simple as that.

"Thought I'd follow up--though I don't have the boat back from the shop to verify this info.

Correct Craft tells me the instruments are run via a digital gateway, so taking the signal off the tach won't work as it's digital at that point. The service rep told me there is an unused plug under the dash that will have an analog signal on a grey wire...I'll take a look for it as soon as I get the opportunity."
