Alternator belt removal

Hello all, I am trying to replace the alternator belt on my 2GM20F Yanmar engine, but there is no way I can rotate the alternator.
I did loosen the bolt that is holding it in place on the moon-shaped bracket, but it's stuck on its rotation axis.
Any tips?

Thanks in advance!

Did the pivot bolt's nut loosen up? If yes, then make sure the bolt is not frozen in the foot of the alternator ...

Sometimes a solvent will help break free a corrosion bond....sometimes it takes heat...

Thank you for the reply!
Is that what you call the pivot bolt?

This is indeed the one that doesn't want to loosen, and hence I can't rotate the alternator.
Is that OK to use PB Blast on those bolt and nut?
Thanks!

Yes, that is the pivot bolt...PB Blaster is fine... An impact gun with a good socket may be of benefit as well...

If the bolt is frozen inside of the alternator, I would clean it up and use a bit of anti-seize to keep it from recurring.
