Like many others I attempted to service my impeller. The prop moved and put it out of line. I did manage to line it back up and shift but I get a loud clunk now, and the shift shaft in the lower moves freely up and down. In the up position it has no problem, but it eventually sinks back down and slips out of gear and starts chattering. It doesn’t move enough to fully separate from the upper shift mechanism but it seems to affect the drive. What in the world happened? Did I break something in the lower? Is there a retainer not working? HELP PLEAS!
