Alpha one gen 2 tapping at hard turning angle

Good morning we own a 2006 Bryant 190 with the Mercruiser 4.3 TKS. Had to have a new upper and lower unit installed two years ago so went with an SEI it’s been great . We’ve had no issues, I did the initial gear oil break-in, and then fluid changes every year. I’ve noticed this year that if I am turning more than just a few degrees and I am applying throttle above idle. I get a light rhythmic tapping noise that goes away as soon as you start to straighten out the wheel it doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s trimmed up or down so I believe it’s probably the U joints, everything else feel smooth and there’s no water coming into the boat. So my plan is this fall is to tear it all apart and check the gimbal bearing the Bellows, etc. once we are done with it for the year. My question is does anybody know if the Sei u joints are agreeable or non and will the Mercruiser Oe joints fit their yolk or what is the correct part number for the U joint? I have already purchased a MerCruiser water pump kit, a MerCruiser Perma lube, gimbal, bearing a set of Bellows and a shift cable if needed. I just wanted to go ahead and purchase the U joints are the whole yolk if that’s what’s needed so that I have it when I take it all apart.

Same u-joints.
Tilt or turn doesn't matter, same forces of misalignment are on u-joints & gimbal bearing.

If you operate at full trailer trim they will make noise even at idle.that why it has a limit switch
