alpha 1 stern drive trim sensors

Replaced the trim sensor , and limit switch , sensor is set o.k , but cant get the trim limit to work right.
I set the drive all the way down , trim up to 21 3/4 inch, set sensor screws, trim down to bottom position,
but it wont come bake up, using trailer switch will go up , at a certain point the trim will work up and down,
but at bottom position wont go up , till I hit the sweet spot going up , any help would be appreciated.

Before installing trim limit switch, look at the pivot center part. It is a Hex, one of the hexes has a raised dimple on it.
The surface below the hex also has an raised dimple on it.

Have outdrive all the way down, line up dimples, install snugging the screws.

Now see if you get the limit to stop with minor adjustment.

If not rotate 180 dimple to no dimple and retry.

I have seen them 180 degrees out brand new!!
