just replaced the shifter cable, lower , on my alpha 1 and noticed that ( with he out drive off) when i move the cabel in and out the outdrive end wants to rotate as the cable is moved, i am doing this with the cable assy not yet engaged int the shift shaft if i hold the cable so it doesnt rotate it gets stiffer to operate , has anyone ever noticed this issue and is it even and issue ?
issue #2 i have also notices ( out drive is still off ) that turning the gimble assy via the wheel will move the cable and bellows out, but whein i turn it back in the direction of the cable bellows the cable does not push back and it kind of binds up, i would thisk it should slide back into the transum, any thoughts
thanks
