What should a shop charge to r

What should a shop charge to replace the impellor? I have gotten two different prices $150 and $275. 2000 5.0 alpha 1 gen 2 drive
No issues just preventative replacement
I was told it didnt need the housing because it was metal in the gen 2

2 Qts of drive oil and pump to put it in
replace pump
Re-install and test run
Add yours or his labor.

I am handy so to speak but have zero knowledge of outdrives. I have researched the procedure and agree its pretty straight forward if you have done it before. I was wondering why so much difference in price.
I am finishing my basement and trying to finish up before warm weather comes so all my extra time is going into this. thats why I am taking it in even though I need to learn how to do it myself.

See if you can find a local mo

See if you can find a local mobile marine mech and have him come over and do it and watch to see just how easy it may be or not for you.

Same price and you get to watch....
