"I have a 1988 75hp merc marin

"I have a 1988 75hp merc mariner outboard motor & I was what the probleum could be with the alarm, it seems to go off when ever. Where is it located? Also where is the impeller located? Someone said it might be that, but there is water that shoots out of the hole. Anyone have any answers."
 
"The alarm you get is an overh

"The alarm you get is an overheating alarm. The problem could be with your thermostat, impeller or both. If you don't know when they were replaced last, they both should be replaced. The thermostat is located in the head of the motor and the impeller is in the lower unit. If you do the work yourself it would probably cost less than $50."

I need to know how to change the impeller & thermostat on my 1988 75hp merc mariner outboard motor if anyone has diagrams it would be very helpful. thanks
