I have a 1995 115hp merc on

I have a 1995 115hp merc on a nitro i use this boat 2 times a week. Saturday when i put it in while idling through the idle zone the alarm started I checked the oil and saw that the water stream was not peeing from the motor so I shut it of and pulled it out. Yesterday I put a new water pump in. however now while sitting in the yard if you turn on the key the alarm keeps beeping still. not a solid but a beep...beep.. beep do I need to reset something? or is this a different problem

"An intermittant beep is the low oil warning. At the bottom of your oil tank are 2 blue wires. Disconnect them and try it again. If it still beeps, you have a bad alarm module. If the beeping stops, the problem is in your oil tank."

2 years ago I had a senser go bad in my tank and had to have it replaced. My question is since I am anal about keeping my oil tank full. if I unplug these two will it still let my other warning work?

"Yes, your only other sensor is Overheat.

And your oil alarm only tells you if you are getting low on oil. If the system stops pumping and your motor siezes up, that oil sensor will sit there nice and quietly because there is still oil in the tank. So I kinda take your view and if you forget to keep the oil topped up, you probably deserve what happens

I thought my motor had 3 alarm

I thought my motor had 3 alarms..oh well so you are saying if this is not connected it will still go off with the overheat sensor tripped. I was afraid It would leave it an open circuit or something

"The sensors are resistance type - so the alarm system needs the switch to "close" for it to go off - if there is nothing there to complete that particular circuit, it will obviously never alarm.."
 
can you help when i switch ign

can you help when i switch ignition on i get my 2 long beaps as normal but after that i get a slow gradgel continosly tone whith graduly gos after a few minutes oil is toped up and engine is cold what is this thanks gavin.
