Alarm goes off randomly

I have a 2001 Maxum 3300 with twin 5.7 liter 250 horse mercruisers that has an alarm going off randomly. The alarm will sound every once in a while when I'm on plane or getting up on plane. The alarm is coming from the helm. I have checked my gear lube levels, oil levels, power steering fluid levels and all are full. My engine temperature is not spiking at all and sits at 175 and my oil pressure seems to be strong according to my gauges. I don't have an auto bilge alarm, so I ruled that out. I thought it could be a faulty engine sniffer, but it doesn't appear to be. Sometimes the alarm will beep once or twice, sometimes it will sound for a few seconds. There is no rhythm or pattern to the beeping. Any idea what it could possibly be? I'm supposed to be taking it on a 85 mile trip on the lake Saturday...think I should be worried about it? Thanks in advance for your help!

EFI or carbed?
If carbed, the only items that will cause an alarm would be hi temp, low oil pressure, or low drive lube.
Yours may also have low seawater pump pressure.
When was the last time you had your seawater pumps serviced?
If EFI it could be a whole host of things besides the above.
Yes you should be worried until you find the culprit.

Thank you for the quick response! It is carbed. That's why I'm stumped. I'm not very knowledgable about boat engines so this may be a stupid question...how do I check my seawater pump pressure? I have not had my seawater pumps serviced since I have owned the boat(3rd season).

Soo are we thinking a short or sensor went.

Me I would bypass the lube sensor.

Run it no alarm you found it, if not then bypass the oil sensor it might be bad, you get the idea.
