"I have a 350 5.7 mercruser 1997 with a bravo 3 drive, it runs great it is carburetor not fuel ing
Air builds up after I run at 3.000 rpm or more for 7 or 8 minutes first I thought it was water in my tank and I would unscrew the water filter separator, empty it and screw it back and I was good to go. Untill I noticed always this air noise, now all I do is unscrew it let the air out and screw it up and Iam good to go.
Is there a air hose or vacuum hose or another way to fix this problem ?

How much fuel is in the tank?

How much fuel is in the tank? Fuel gauge correct? The siphon hose inside the tank may be off or loose allowing the pump to suck fumes.

Is the air rushing out or is it rushing in ?
Check your fuel tank breather is not blocked.
Try running your engine untill it stops and then release the fuel cap and listen for the air noise as you do, then see if it starts.

"The fuel tank is toped off every time I go out and gas comes out from the breather leting me know its full, also the gauge is digital and is very acuarete. I have not done the fuel cap deal yet to see if air pops out.
Question ? Do I have a fuel pressure regulator?
It shows in the manual but it does not tell me if its for Fuel ingection or carb like I have."
