I have B100S serial No. 1710679 Colud You tell Year of production?

It was best to start a new post.

Your year is 1985 and the model number is BF100F. The B100S is part of the serial number. The S indicates the motor is a short shaft motor.

I can't read the serial# on my B100S, some one told me there is another stamp somewhere on the flywheel?
