i picked up another evinrude o

i picked up another evinrude outboard. I know that its from the mid thirtys but other than that im lost. The number on the plate is as follows N 4644 any help is great

also there looks like a small hole in the tank is it alright to try and have it tig welded shut or should i go a different route

There is no model number 4644 listed. However, there is a model number 4044 which is why I asked if you ere sure about that number.... possibly mistook the "0" for a "6"?

Model #4044 is a 1934/35 9.2hp Evinrude."

could it be a model N with the 4644 as a serial number sort of thing also it has a Zenith carb with a wire bail to hold the top on and the numbers 12-29-08 on the top of the cover
