I just bought a boat with a 1983 90 H mercury outboard with what appears to be an aftermarket jet attached. The guy I bought it from said you could only flush the motor either in a big tub of water or in a river or lake. I have ran the moter in a lake but have two concerns; I see no water coming out of a pee hole and see no place to put an water hose to flush it out. I know the water cooler is working as the motor is still running but would like to know if there is anyway to flush if out without having to put the motor in a large tub. Any ideas???
