I have a 1993 Crownline bow rider with a 5.0 engine that has a bad engine coupler. I know how to disconnect everything; drive, exhaust......My problem is the engine is so far back under the deck. What if any is the easiest way to get the engine out far enough to change the coupler. Pics wont insert to show problem:(

Normally have seen folks use a U shaped rigging assembly , where the U is horizontal to get under the deck.

you just need to pull it fwd enough to get the flywheel cover off. Have you checked the alignment as is? boat of that age might verify the stinger, transom, and rear engine mounts are ok before going back in.

post a pic of the flame arrestor. using a reg eng hoist you may have enough room if you remove the carb to get it down low enough
