Adding a kill switch to a 1978 Johnson 4hp.

I have a 1978 Johnson 4hp model 4rl78e. I want to add a kill switch to it for my son when he is using it. The cdi has 3 wires coming out of it 2 orange and a black w/yellow tracer. The 2 orange go to the coils and I'm assuming they are the trigger wires. The black/y stops at the rubber connector. Would this be a provision for a kill switch by chance. The cdi is a 0582452. Common on 70/80s small hp Johnson's.

I would test if just grounding out this wire would work but I don't want to fry the CDI
