Adding a fuel pump to Merc 4 HP Gnat, help needed

This link was on Marine Engine.com/Youtube. It shows a 4 HP Gnat with an added fuel pump, I'd like to know what fuel pump was used as these are very tight quarters. Larry

I would install the little square fuel pump used by Johnson / Evinrude.-----Used on 3 to 25 HP motors from 1968 to 2005 model years..----Simple / reliable.----Likely easy to install.----Easy / cheap to find on Amazon.

I've seen those but Can anyone send me a photo? These are usually for 4 strokes aren't they? where they have a third hose connection to somewhere. Help

No such thing as a 3 HP 4 stroke in 1968 !!----And they use 2 hoses on that little pump.----But you could modify to use a third hose for the PRESSURE pulse.

I'd like to know what fuel pump was used as these are very tight quarters. Was it a small electric pump? Something had to provide the pulse but on this engine I can't see that happening. Larry
