"I got brazen enough to take the Drive off today, and found out there is NO fluid in this Intermediate Drive. Never was....never will be.
SUE13SU NO PROVISION for fluid to be put in. I guess this one rests on 2 greased bearings. 1 at the Ball gear, and one near the engine, greased on the INSIDE of the boat. When I went looking for drain and fill plugs, there were 2 there. They do not go anywhere....except the water transfer areas under the side caps.
This is a strange duck.... but look at the positive side...I learned how to remove a Drive Unit from an Intermediate Unit !!!!!"
