"I'm installing a Pertroni

"I'm installing a Pertronix kit in my AQ140A/AQ125A. I got the Pertronix "used", i.e. open box and no instructions. I've checked with Pertronix and it's the right one for my motor.

Questions:

1) What is the proper AIR GAP between the magnetic "donut" and the module?

2) Is my stock Bosch Distributor okay to use with the Pertronix?

3) Finally, I've the Coil wired up this way (See below). Is it correct?

On the POS (+) side of the Coil:
RED wire from the Pertronix and the PURPLE wire going to the back to the ALTERNATOR (With the Resistor in-line near the ALT's backside).

On the NEG (-) side of the Coil:
The BLACK wire from the Pertronix and the GRAY wire feeding to the TACH.

Is this correct?"

I've got a can of worms today. Trying to start a newly rebuilt motor with the Weber added. Wouldn't fire up so I'm adding the Pertronix. Always something....
