"I have a problem with the water pump on my 1986 mod #GJ10RCDB.Its not working ,beleived clogged with weeds,can this be cleaned or flushed or is relacement required,also where is it on motor? thanks"
 
"The pump sits directly on top

"The pump sits directly on top of the lower unit, right where the retaining bolts are. It's impossible for that pump to become weed clogged.

Remove the lower unit to remove/dismantle to inspect/replace the pump.

A service manual will come in handy right now."
