Does anyone have the carb size

Does anyone have the carb sizes (venturi size in mm) for the 9.9 and 15 hp Johnson/Evinrude? I am looking at a 1980 9.9 that the owner said the previous owner said (?) that it had been modded to a 15 hp with the carb. I also understand that the exhaust tubes need to be changed for this mod - is this correct? Thanks!

"Hi...I do know that up to a certain year, that could be done...But later changed the exhust setup and it didnt help....not sure when the change was made, but the info can be found on the internet...have seen it, just don't remember where...Also Mr. Joe Reeves on here might be of some help.....Tom"
