I have a 1999 Johnson 250HP with T&T problems.

I have manually lifted the engine and checked the fluid reservoir and it is full. Once the engine was up, the lift rams came out when the T&T controls were pressed but they went back down once the weight of the engine was placed on them.

}I released the screw for the manual release then tightened it back but the motor moved up about one inch and then came back down very slow.

When the T&T control is pressed, there is a sound as if the reservoir was empty. I have tried this numerous times but I still have not been able to get the T&T to work properly.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated."

Sounds as if you have an air p

Sounds as if you have an air pocket in the system. You might try to bleed the system.

"system is 'basically' self bleeding...raise it all the way up,refill w tnt or pwr st fluid,run up and down 5 times,..refill,.........continue process once more...if that does not help,..u have internal probs."
