"started engine up for the first time this season, ran for about 1/2 hour with no problem after being launched, then she just stopped. i cannot restart it at all. fuel is getting past the fuel filterwith no problem, put in new sparkplugs, but i still cannot start it. any ideas out there?"
 
"Remove spark plugs, then chec

"Remove spark plugs, then check for spark that will jump a 7/16" gap. If no spark, remove black/yellow wire from powerpack (kill circuit) and recheck for spark. If still no spark, the usual cause is a failed powerpack.

i still have to test for spark. any suggestions on how to do this? what should i do if there is or isnt spark? how do you recommend testing the kill switch?

"tested for spark and had it in both wires. i just couldnt get the thing to start up again. so i gave up and brought it to the repair shop. compression, good, spark, good, narrowed it down to a fuel problem. used the shop's fuel tank, ran with no problem. then hooked up my gas tank, ran with no problem. my fuel was tested and had about 9% alcohol, which i was told is normal. i was getting gas to my motor after it died. does anybody have any explanation for this?"
