My 882 heads on 78 are shot.
Looked on CL and I found a 98 5.7 vortec runner out of a 2500HD for dirt cheap.
My question is what do I need to do to the vortec to make it fit (work) my boat ? I know the basics head gaskets, brass plugs, ETC
The Camshaft? what cam should i use? Fuel pump Im lost.
Or should I just use the heads and get a carburetor intake manifold? I like the vortec heads over the 76cc smogers
