98 johnson 90hp 60degree runaway idle

the motor starts up fine.. after a minute of running the idle starts to climb and climb and climb... itll go easy 3k.. itll slow down if i choke it..only for a second.. then start running away again. when its IN GEAR it idles fine...maybe a hair too fast (1000+/- 100) as soon as i put it in netural it will race away again. its got a brand new optical ignition, new fuel lines, new water seperator and new plugs.. i can video this if needed.

i had a 60 h.p johnson .....and now a 50 h.p. johnson....both run w.o.t. , just once in a while.....i tryed new intake gaskets, reed valves....they both still go wide open........blow up......HOLY COW CRAZY ....only way to shut them down is to put hands over the carbs !!
..........still waiting for a good reply , from the good people on this forum........

yea mine is a little different.. it does it anytime its in netural... just starts to slowly climb and climb and climb..
