97b Yamaha Alarm keeps going off

1997 Yamaha V4 115 2 stroke-On

1997 Yamaha V4 115 2 stroke-On the way back in today the Engine alarm started to go off and made me drop below 1500RPM's. So I putted back in luckily I wasnt to far from the ramp.. I did some searches on here to see what could be causing the problem and I think its the low oil alarm that keep going off. I took the cover off and the oil in the resevoir on the engine is low (on the low line level) I tried to use the emergency switch to put oil in the little tank but it didnt get any fuller.Once I drop below the 1500RPM's the alarm stops. How can I solve this problem. Im going on a 3 day fishing trip in it next weekend so I hope its nothing major..
 
Sounds like it is not transfer

Sounds like it is not transfering for the main tank. Turn the key on and put hand on main tank to feel if it is running. If its not you will need to find out why. If it is the filter under the bottom is probable stopped up.

"I will see if the pump is pumping from the main tank. I also will check to make sure the oil filter off of the main tank isnt clogged with anything as well. Is there any fuses that might have popped that run the oil main pump? You know after thinking about saturday when we were out in the boat I heard a loud pump that was on for a while and then it stopped, I first thought it was the bait pump but it wasnt. Maybe the main oil pump went out on me is what im guessing..Ill find otu today though"
 
"Took the pump out of the oil

"Took the pump out of the oil tank and hooked it to a 12v power supply and the pump did not come on, went to ingman and bought a new one and problem solved.Thanks for everyones help.."
