97115 Tracker Marine Spitting Oil

"Occasionally my 115 seems to

"Occasionally my 115 seems to spit oil out the exhaust. When it occurs on the water it creates an oil slick and runs so rough it dies if I put it in gear. Most recently it occured while running it in my driveway to winterize. I noticed that oil seemed to be coming out the exhaust. So far each occurrence has eventually cleared up, but I'm sure its a sign of worse things to come. Any help appreciated."

"I only have the manual that came with the boat & motor...no repair manual. Since it is in the boat, which is currently wrapped up like a cocoon for winter, I guess I'll wait awhile to have it diagnosed. Thanks for your input."
