'97 Mariner 40hp cable assembly

Hi all, I was wondering whether someone could help out with a photo or information. I removed my '97 Mariner from one boat to fit to another last year. I've now just got round to commissioning again and can't remember how to locate the plastic locators on the throttle and choke cables that reside in the engine bay. I've left these set at the position they were before the engine was removed but can't remember how to locate these in the engine - are there metal studs on the engine for the holes in the plastic locators to affix? I've attached 2 photo's the red circles outline the plastic locators, and in the other, the blue circle shows the locator hole on these plastic locators.

Hi I have the same question as you had when you made this post last july, if you have fouynd the answer please let me know, I bought the same motor and am having the same problem.
