97 25 hp Johnson fuel line routing

I’m rebuilding the carb and the prime solenoid and the old solenoid only has one of the smaller fittings open but the new part which I’m told is the correct part has both open. Where or how would I route the fuel lines?

Model # of your motor ?-----The 3 cylinder motors only used one wee hose off the electric primer.
